The AYURVEDIC Clinic
With a legacy dating back to 1910, Sankunnis Ayurvedic Clinic stands as one of the earliest Ayurvedic clinics in Chennai. Founded by Dr. U.P Sankunni Menon, an erudite Sanskrit scholar who also had extensive training in Ayurvedic Sastras. Through his groundbreaking research in Ayurvedic Science, he developed essential medicines that continue to effectively treat a wide range of acute and chronic health issues without any adverse side effects.
At Sankunni’s Ayurvedic Clinic, all medicinal preparations and therapies are strictly based on the tried and tested traditions practiced by the founder, Dr. Sankunni Menon.
THE AYURVEDIC RESEARCH FOUNDATION
Our research foundation was founded in 2000 by Mr. Rajan Balakrishnan, MD Sankunnis Ayurvedic Research Foundation Pvt. Ltd., with a clear vision to bring Ayurveda to society in a contemporary form and unravel the mystery behind the age-old system of medicine. This included referring to ancient ayurvedic texts, selecting indigenous herbs and subjecting the formulation to modern pharmacological, toxicological and safety tests to create new drugs and therapies
OUR PRODUCTS
Our existing production facility is in accordance with the guidelines laid down by the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) USA. We have developed pain relief balms and medicines that are FDA approved and are being sold in the USA. Our medicines, topical lotions, creams, and pain balms are exported to countries across the globe, including Malaysia, Germany, and France.
